I remember 1 time that I was painting on a sidewalk outside a college. I was sitting Indian style, encompassed by curious onlookers that have been trying to find an improved view. The audience was so thick that there wasn't much space for the people to obtain inside my circle.

While I place down the initial colors of my painting, I saw one of the people facing me was barefoot. For some reason they hadn't put any shoes on that day. I looked over him plus it occurred in my opinion to surprise him by using his foot in my painting.

In that moment, I just grabbed his bare foot and hang it directly into my fresh paint! Fortunately it turned out funny for the audience and also the man accepted my crazy idea inside a smart way.

This sort of spontaneous creativity is exactly what I think really feeds the process of spray paint art, or aerosolgrafia. I love the expressive moments, the times that we escape our personal way and permit the great spirit paint through us.

To me being in the minute is much more important than understanding how to spray paint perfectly.
It is critical to cultivate this sense of the now, at one time, it is also important to figure out how to be very practical. We must, as the boy scouts say, "be prepared." One way to prepare is usually to be guaranteed to carry the type of material and tools that you will want, but no extra stuff to weigh you down.

When I go to perform inside a fair or inside a nearby plaza, I bring a few essential things with me at night. I carry a sturdy portfolio into which my paintings and paper go. I bring my newspaper, already torn willing and able for painting.

I carry a thin piece of wood to paint on top of. I put my spray painting cans in to a backpack that I can easily carry, only bringing the shades that I prefer to use. I can put my palette knives, plates, brushes and small music playing device into that same backpack. The music is essential because it helps everyone else be engaged while I am working and fosters fun moments of fascination for everybody.

We can all neglect the everyday and access the special moment of spray paint art together. I bring a lamp with me at night if I is going to be doing my show later in the day. It's also possible to learn how to spray paint underneath a street lamp if it is bright enough and you have chosen your street lamp carefully, preferably the night before.

I carry a large piece of red cloth with me at night to look at for the sidewalk and display my spray paintings. If the space is small, I may fold the cloth and display some of the paintings up against the local wall.

I have done plenty of traveling across Mexico, United States, Europe and much more, believing it is possible to be self-employed just as one artist and to be the boss of my own life and time.

This was my basic motivation when I started discovering the way to spray paint, to be free! However, the goal wasn't to become rich person, so I have always sold my paintings at a price that this "man or woman in the street" could easily afford.

In fact, if a person was lacking enough money to acquire a painting, I would often accept whatever they had the ability to pay in exchange for my spray paint art. For me this wasn't an issue.
There were more often than not I painted where my sales were so amazing that I ran beyond materials before I finished my show.

There were also places where whatever I tried, I wasn't permitted to sell my work and I had to learn how to perform first and then sell my artwork in another area at another time for you to the interested members of the audience.

I arrived and got set upFinish Line Painting. In a few minutes I was painting plus it would have been a great night, filled with life and sales.

There was also a individual who took the time for you to tell me which he was so amazed at what I was able to do which has a spray can. He congratulated me inside a way that deeply touched my heart.

He informed me that there was something truly valuable in me which he felt communicated considerably more than simply artwork. In his eyes, I was intriquing, notable and spiritualFinish Line Painting. I would not feel that way inside, especially on that day! But he helped me feel more secure in my spray painting performance work. It was just what I needed to keep occurring my path.

Only 2-3 days later, I was again painting which has a large audience for the same street. I was in the middle of an image, but I never got a chance to finish itFinish Line Painting. A police inspector appeared and talked about if I stood a permit.

I was lacking one, or even are aware that I needed one. He stopped my work and I had to resist talk to him. The audience was insistent that I finish the painting I was doing and started to chant "let him finish" in the police man.

This would have been a huge surprise in my opinion!
Even though the people defended me, the inspectors would not change their opinion. They would not leave me another option. I was so mad that I kicked my cans plus they actually involved as a result of the station.

Fortunately that's all of that happened. It did take me some time for you to evaluate which to do next in order to find a whole new spot to work. This would have been a bitter experience for me personally.

Pushing the limits of street permits has taught me much about our social system and also the restrictions which it imposes on our freedom.
So many things have happened in my opinion while spray painting for the streets.

I also have wonderful experiences of connection with strangers. I have met every sort of person from rich to poor and crazy to genius. I have learned to be a warrior and confront a society lost in the daily grind and materialism. It was not a straightforward path.

I have had to take care of envious those who hated me for my success. I have also had to take care of police, inspectors and also other authorities who make an effort to stop me from spray painting using places and often from earning my surviving in an honorable way Finish Line Painting.

I have learned to distinguish the not so good apples who carry a grudge and become invisible for them. I have discovered that there are numerous good people in the world, but often it's not enough to reside in a graceful lifeFinish Line Painting.

I've traveled much and seen locations where I never would have seen without learning the way to spray paint. This path is a huge path of the heart for me personally and I'm so glad I got on the market and made it happen!
